Unbelievably my little babygirl just turned 14. I was thrilled she asked me to throw her a luau party for her birthday. I don’t get to see my kids much lately, and an excuse to spoil her a little and see my babies sounded like a fabulous idea to me. So, I started about a month prior to party day! With a check list I made. You guys can use it as well here.

I made some pretty cool center pieces and my friend made a frame for a photo back drop that all came out pretty well. We were going to make a tiki hut as well but we just optied for convince and bought one at party City.

So for games I had a few planned but once it came down to party time we only got to two games because , hey, we’re at the beach and kids want to swim. We ended up having a watermelon eating contest as well as playing a game called pass the water.

Once everything was said and done the party turned out pretty good! My daughter is officially 14 and I’m officially old! Hope someone can use some of my ideas as insperation while throwing there own luau party. Here’s some more cute pictures from the party to end the post. Thanks for reading!
